Praise the heavens, Opening Day is finally here, and hope springs eternal. The deepest lineup in the National League will face 18 game winner, Miles Mikolas, to open the season in Miller Park. Coming over from Japan, and choosing St. Louis over Milwaukee, Mikolas pitched as the Cardinals’ ace last season. Milwaukee will look to give the "lizard king” a rude awakening to begin the season with a lineup that we hope becomes one of Brewers’ legend, led by 2018 National League MVP, Christian Yelich.

Jhoulys Chacin gets the honor, and hopefully not the curse, of starting for the Brew Crew on Opening Day 2019. Let’s send good mental vibes Chacin’s way so he can avoid a fate similar to Chase Anderson in 2018, Junior Guerra in 2017, and Wily Peralta in 2016. I think he pitches well this season as the Brewers march towards the postseason . He will face a pretty potent lineup in its own right led by recent contract extension recipient, Paul Goldschmidt.
