The good news for the Brewers is even though Paul Goldschmidt homered against them three times, he did it all in one game, and tonight is a new one.
Brandon Woodruff, Who Homered Against Clayton Kershaw In The NLCS (if I were him, I would legally change my name to this) takes the mound against Dakota Hudson, who is making his first Major League start after making 26 appearances out of the Cardinals bullpen last season.
Hudson was a first-round pick in 2016 and came in at #74 on Baseball America’s list of Top 100 prospects this spring.
To counteract the 6’5” righty, Craig Counsell is loading up the lineup with left-handed bats. Behold, the Righty Killer lineup:
Updated lineup: Yelich in right field, Gamel in left field. https://t.co/8tmgq2cxF4

Including Woodruff, that’s 7 left-handed hitters in the starting lineup, including 6 in a row after Lorenzo Cain, and no two righties in a row.
Good luck, kid.
The Cardinals will be turning back the clock tonight with baby blue road uniforms.
