On Sunday, Ross Stripling nearly shut out the Brewers for 8 innings, allowing just a sac fly to Eric Thames in that 8th and final inning.
Tonight, the Brewers are trying to avoid that outcome again, stacking the lineup with left-handers against the right-handed 2018 All-Star.
With the switch-hitting Yasmani Grandal hitting cleanup, the Brewers will throw 6 consecutive lefties against Stripling. We’ll see if that helps lead to more than 1 run tonight.
Jhoulys Chacin is back on the mound for the Brewers after struggling mightily against these Dodgers in his first outing, giving up 6 earned runs in 2.1 innings in his first truly poor start of the season.
First pitch is at 7:10 p.m. CDT.
