Chase Anderson was scheduled to make his third start of the season tonight for the Milwaukee Brewers, but things took a turn as Anderson began throwing his warm up tosses:
Jacob Barnes just ran out to the field to stretch and go to the bullpen before the game. Head athletic trainer Scott Barringer is checking on scheduled starter Chase Anderson.— Sophia Minnaert (@SophiaMinnaert) May 1, 2019
Barnes, a relief pitcher by trade, will be making his first career MLB start. He has a 5.56 ERA in 11.1 innings so far this season. It will be a bullpen game after that tonight against the Colorado Rockies.
