Milwaukee Brewers activate Aaron Wilkerson from IL, option him to San Antonio

When Aaron Wilkerson went on the injured list a little less than two weeks ago, the pitching staff was in flux. But things have settled down quite a bit in the rotation and bullpen lately, meaning that Wilkerson didn't have a spot when he was ready to return from his foot contusion. So, the club has activated him and optioned him back to Triple-A San Antonio, where he made a 5 shutout inning rehab start on May 7th. In 3 MLB games for the Brewers, he allowed 6 earned runs in 7.1 innings with 8 strikeouts and 3 walks. (Statistics courtesy of Fangraphs)
