What’s going to happen this evening with Adrian Houser? Is he going to be an opener for Freddy Peralta? Will he and Peralta form what amounts to a tandem? Will Houser throw a complete game shut out?

Bringing tandems into major league baseball would be a cutting edge tactic, while utilization of the opener constitutes the continuation of an already successful cutting edge approach. Whatever the answer, it will be interesting to find out.
