Kahle has the look of a catcher who can hit a little. According the MLB Pipeline, scouts have hope that he will hit for average at the next level demonstrating ability to catch up to good fastballs with solid bat speed. He has also shown a propensity for pitch recognition against breaking stuff. Right now he has gap power that might turn into more.
Kahle is 5’10 and 210 pounds, so he is short and stocky in build. To this point, he has yet to demonstrate agility behind the plate, although scouts have said that he improved his receiving and blocking skills. Kahle has an accurate arm that is lacking in strength.
