This will be the fourth time with the big league club for Williams this season. He began the season on the 25-man roster before being sent to San Antonio very early into the 2019 season. In seven games with the Brew Crew this season, Williams has struggled, giving up 15 runs on 19 hits over 10 2⁄3 innings of work.
His work with the Missions has been much more promising. In 34 appearances with the Triple-A affiliate, he holds a 1.77 ERA over 40 2⁄3 innings while striking out 45. The hope is that Williams translates those numbers into his next stint with Milwaukee.
Taylor Williams was 3-1 with 1.77 ERA in 34 relief appearances for @missionsmilb. Pitched 40.2 IPs iwth 23 hits, 17 walks, 45 Ks, 0.98 WHIP.
