The third pitcher acquired by the Brewers at the trade deadline is getting ready to make his Brewers debut.
Ray Black is being called up from Triple-A. Jake Faria, another one of the deadline acquisitions, will swap places with Black and head back to San Antonio.

Black has performed well in a short sample in San Antonio. In 4 appearances over 4 innings pitched, he’s struck out 5 and walked just one batter and has not given up any hits or runs. His big arm and 100 mph fastball could be a welcome addition to the Brewers’ bullpen.
Faria appeared in 3 games for Milwaukee, giving up 3 runs over 3.1 innings, including one Monday night against Minnesota.
