Prince Fielder once memorably graced the pages of the ‘ESPN The Magazine Body Issue,’ but it was a few seasons after his tenure in Milwaukee had ended. This year, however, Christian Yelich will become the first active Brewers players to don his birthday suit in the annual edition of the publication.

“I’m at a position in my life where I felt like it was something I wanted to do,” Yelich told reporters before last night’s debacle against St. Louis. “I was not really worried about the whole being naked thing...I was super comfortable with it, had a great time, and the crew and everyone at ESPN was super professional.”

The magazine will hits stands on September 6th, and this will be the final print edition of The Body Issue before ESPN ceases print operation of the periodical after 21 years. ESPN announced in April that they would be transitioning ‘ESPN The Magazine’ to an all-digital format and remain available online. Some first looks of Yelich’s photos were revealed last night:
