For the second time in a week, the Brewers will need a win on Wednesday to avoid a sweep at the hands of the St. Louis Cardinals.
This time, they’ll need to beat Jack Flaherty to do it. That will be no small task — Flaherty has given up a total of one earned run — a first inning solo home run — in the entire month of August.
Jordan Lyles, possibly the Brewers’ most consistent starter in August, will get the ball starting at 1:10 p.m. at Miller Park.
Please win.
Please?
