The Brewers are getting closer and closer to that playoff spot. They have a three game lead over the Cubs for the second Wild Card, with the first Wild Card still in reach. Finishing off a sweep of the Pirates would further help them get that postseason berth. Brandon Woodruff will make his second start since returning from the IL this afternoon, and it will be another piggyback game for him. He’ll get the start, and Gio Gonzalez will follow him. On the other side, Trevor Williams starts for the Pirates.
First pitch is at 1:10 pm, game will be on Fox Sports Wisconsin and the Brewers Radio Network.
