In Holt’s case, his defensive versatility should be a real asset to Milwaukee. Holt has logged innings at every position on the field except for catcher and pitcher over his career. Until now the only team he played for was the Boston Red Sox. The left-hand hitting utility man has a career slash line of .271/.340/.374 and a .297/.369/.402 slash in 2019. He will turn 32 in June.
Specifics of the deal are unknown at this time. More to follow as more information becomes available.
