Take 2: Bold Predictions 2020

So way back in March some of us made some Bold Predictions:

That seems so long ago. Many things have changed. We are just hoping the one person that had the bold predictions that baseball will be played was right.

So what are your predictions now that the season will restart. Here are mine:

1. One team will forfeit a number of games rather than travel and play a club that is experiencing a spike in their clubhouse. I will most likely be a game between Toronto and Florida Marlins.

2. Ryan Braun will play part of a game at third base. The Brewers will liberally pinch hit for the third basemen and one time Braun will be called on to man the position defensively because there won't be anyone else left. (I would feel way more comfortable about this prediction if the stupid start a runner at second base in extra innings wasn't being instituted.)

3. The Brewers start hot and win the division by at least five games. Why not? In a short season, a 20 and 8 start pretty much guarantees the team a playoff spot and a 30 man roster is really a Craigtember roster so it makes sense. 20 and 8 plus 16 - 16 gets you to 36-24. That should win the division going away.

4. Houser will be the best starting pitcher on the team. This isn't changing much from the earlier prediction. But I think it is even more likely since he won't have to maintain production over 180 innings.

So what are your new and improved
