We’re closer to seeing baseball this year, but you’ll have to excuse us if we still aren’t particularly hopeful, even as the Brewers begin Summer Camp.
In this week’s episode of Milwaukee’s Tailgate, Ryan Topp, Brad Ford, Paul Noonan and myself talk about news of players already testing positive for COVID-19 so soon after camps open (recorded before the Brewers announced two cases that were confirmed before workouts even began), how this entire thing still feels gross, and how the cancelled minor league season could benefit Indy baseball (again recorded before the Milwaukee Milkmen had to cancel a game due to the virus).
We also talk about high hopes for Corey Knebel being ready by the end of the month and Ryan Braun continuing to drop hints that he may not be done after this year — and why it’s not a lock the Brewers bring him back.
Summer Camp is open and we're back to talk all about that, the roster, the cancellation of the minor league season, Ryan Braun, Corey Knebel and our plans for a couple contests this year. @RDTopp @BrewCrewBlue @BadgerNoonan @JaymesL https://t.co/nWqZJAm2sl
