The Brewers are hoping to avoid being swept for the first time in 2020 this afternoon, and it won’t be an easy task.

The struggling Brewers offense will face Cincinnati’s Sonny Gray, who has been one of the best pitchers in the National League to start this shortened schedule. The Reds have won all three of Gray’s starts, and he’s allowed all of 2 earned runs over his first 18.2 innings, striking out 28 batters and only walking 5. The 2 runs he’s allowed have come on 2 solo home runs.

If there’s hope for the Brewers, it’s that they’re countering with Brandon Woodruff. First pitch is at 1:10 p.m. CDT on FS Wisconsin and your local Brewers radio affiliate.
