The Brewers hope to keep the pace in the NL playoff race while securing a series win in their final home series of 2020.
Corbin Burnes take the mound tonight, facing one of the Royals’ better prospects in the left-handed Kris Bubic.
The Brewers’ lineup was a little late in being released as the team waited to see if Ryan Braun could go today after leaving last night’s game with back spasms. It looks like his back is good enough to at least swing a bat, as he’s in the lineup as the DH.
Ben Gamel’s status is more up in the air after leaving Friday night’s game with a quad injury that’s apparently been bothering him for weeks. That gets Tyrone Taylor a start in right field.
First pitch is 6:10 p.m. CDT.
Tonight's starters against the Royals.
