After losing Thursday night, the Brewers, realistically, need to win 3 of their last 4 games to still have a chance at making the playoffs for a record third time in a row.
That means at least one, if not both, of today’s games would fall into the “must-win” bucket. Getting swept would put them in jeopardy of being eliminated if the Giants manage to sweep a doubleheader in San Diego at the same time.
But, as Ned Yost would say, the math could still be on the Brewers’ side. They are, after all, still just a game and a half behind the Reds with 4 to play.
First pitch of the first game is at 4:15 p.m. CDT.
Here's the #Brewers lineup for Game 1 of today’s doubleheader.
