Brew Crew Ball Community Top Prospects Vote #23

This is your chance to choose who the most exciting future Brewers are!

We are now well into the year 2021, thankfully. While the offseason has thus far been a slow one for the Milwaukee Brewers, fans of the franchise can at least be thankful that new top prospects lists have already started to be released for the upcoming season. That means that even after an unprecedented season without any affiliated minor league baseball having been played, it is time to take stock of the farm system with the annual Brew Crew Ball Community Top Prospects voting!

The Brewers made their third-straight postseason appearance during the shortened 2020 campaign, and did so without the benefit of any major trades during the summer that would have depleted the farm system. Milwaukee’s collection of minor league talent still pales in comparison to that of most other franchises around the league, but after what was considered a strong draft class this past summer, the prevailing belief is that the system has at least improved enough to no longer be considered the worst in the game. As was the case last winter, most of Milwaukee’s best talent is still in the very low levels of the system, high-upside guys with talent to dream on but with a lot of remaining risk involved in projecting their futures.

Now it’s your turn to parse through Milwaukee’s top prospects and vote for where you think they stack up. You’ll be given guidance from the top prospect lists that have already been released, and once outlets like Fangraphs update their lists for 2021, those will be included, too.

Yesterday, something happened that has never previously occurred in my 5+ years at Brew Crew Ball. We had a tie in the top prospect voting! So, this tie was decided by alphabetical order of first name, meaning that Alec Bettinger is top prospect #22. He has been removed from the list as we vote today for the #23 minor leaguer playing in Milwaukee’s farm system:
