Last season, the Brewers current deal with FOX Sports Wisconsin came to an end. That left them with no TV deal going into the new season. That was rectified a few days ago, as the Brewers announced a new deal with FOX Sports Wisconsin (to be rebranded to Bally Sports Wisconsin). This will ensure TV continuity for the team going into the next several seasons.

Terms of the deal were not announced at the time. The Brewers did announce that the regular TV broadcast team will return. Brian Anderson and Bill Schroeder will remain the main TV announcers, with Sophia Minnaert as the field reporter. Matt Lepay and Jeff Levering will also cover some games when Brian Anderson is away.

The TV broadcast schedule for the upcoming season has not been announced, but a Spring Training schedule should be available in the next few days.

Here are the official comments from the Brewers and from FOX Sports Wisconsin (from the Brewers press release):

“With Spring Training starting in just a few days, we look forward to bringing Milwaukee Brewers baseball back to the air,” said Rick Schlesinger, Brewers President – Business Operations. “As we look to bring fans back to American Family Field for the start of the season, our long-term relationship with FOX Sports Wisconsin also offers a direct connection to the game-day experience for viewers away from the ballpark.”

“We are extremely proud to be continuing our long-standing partnership with the Milwaukee Brewers,” said Steve Rosenberg, President of Local Sports, Sinclair Broadcast Group. “We would like to extend our appreciation to Rick, Mark Attanasio and Major League Baseball for their help and continued collaboration as we move our relationship forward.”
