Milwaukee Brewers Spring Training broadcast schedule is out

Fans will have ample access to the Brew Crew during Spring Training with 12 games scheduled for television, 18 for radio, and 5 for webcast

The Milwaukee Brewers Spring Training schedule is out. Twelve of the games will be televised, while 18 games will be broadcast via radio. There will also be five games streamed by webcast on Brewers.com.

The Brewers will open up Spring Training action against the Chicago White Sox in Glendale on February 28 at 2:05 CT. That game will be broadcast on 94.5 ESPN radio and/or the Brewers Radio Network. The first webcast game will come in the Brewers second game of the Cactus League on March 1 in Scottsdale against the Arizona Diamondbacks. That game is scheduled to begin at 2:10 CT.

The first home game at American Family Fields of Phoenix happens on March 2 against the Oakland A’s. It will be a radio broadcast via WTMJ and the Brewers Radio Network. Game time is scheduled for 2:10 CT.

The first time the Brewers will be on television is March 3 against the San Diego Padres in Peoria. The game will be telecast on Fox Sports San Diego beginning at 2:10 CT. The following day, the folks at Fox Sports Wisconsin get into the game with their first broadcast of Brewers’ Spring Training baseball. The opponent that day will be the Cleveland Indians and the game will be another 2:10 CT start time at American Family Fields of Phoenix. WTMJ and the Brewers Radio Network will have coverage of the this game as well.

The Brewers are schedule to play everyday of Spring Training except March 7 and March 17. Milwaukee will wrap up Spring Training in Arizona on March 28 against the Cincinnati Reds. The game will not be broadcast, but it will be played at American Family Fields of Phoenix.

The last radio broadcasted Brewers’ Spring Training game will take place on March 27 against the Kansas City Royals in Surpise at 3:05 CT. The last televised Brewers’ Spring Training game will take place against the Chicago White Sox with a scheduled first pitch at 3:10 CT.

Milwaukee will end the Spring Training season in Arlington, Texas. The Brewers will play back-to-back days against the Texas Rangers. On March 29 the Brewers will take on the Rangers at 7:05 CT, and on March 30 both teams will play at 1:05 CT. Neither game is scheduled for broadcast.

After the last Spring Training game in Arlington, the Brewers are headed home to Milwaukee. On April 1, the Brewers will take on the Minnesota Twins. First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 CT.
