The Milwaukee Brewers are bringing a fresh arm up from the Alternative Training Site, and his name is Angel Perdomo. In a corresponding move, Eric Yardley is head to the Alternative Training Site.

Perdomo showed decent, although inefficient results in Spring Training this season. In a little over six innings pitched in Cactus league he gave up 1 hit and struck out 12. He was still wild, walking 4. The potential is immense if he can build in a little more control and command. Perdomo got his first shot in 2020, but over 2.2 innings pitched, he walked 7 and put up a 20.25 ERA. His second go around is apt to be better.
Perdomo replaces Eric Yardley who was really good in 2020. It has been another matter in 2021. The submariner is sporting a 9.00 ERA as he made 5 appearances to this point in the season. Three walks, 2 batters hit, 7 hits allowed, and 1 home run allowed across 5 innings is not a good stretch. Yardley will look to right the ship.
