We’ve made it one turn through the rotation, and if the early results are any indication, it could be a major strength for the Brewers going forward.
The offense, of course, is a bit of a mixed bag, but the Brewers will hope to build on some of the good things they did last night. It’ll be a tough task, though, against someone who has historically had their number, even when things are going well — Kyle Hendricks.
The Brewers will counter with Brandon Woodruff for today’s matinee at Wrigley.
Lorenzo Cain makes his return to the lineup this afternoon after missing a few games with old man obliques, Keston Hiura is back in after getting a mental break Tuesday night, and Daniel Robertson makes his first start for the Brewers with Kolten Wong getting the afternoon off.
First pitch is set for 1:20 p.m.
The series finale against the Cubs gets underway at 1:20 p.m. CT.
