Earlier this week, the Brewers designated Josh Lindblom for assignment in order to clear roster space for Eric Lauer. Lindblom officially cleared waivers today, and the Brewers announced that he has been outrighted to Triple-A. Lindblom did have the right to refuse the assignment, but Adam McCalvy noted that Lindblom has accepted the assignment. The Brewers plan is to get Lindblom regular work in Triple-A to see if that will improve his results. He will slot into the Nashville starting rotation beginning on Thursday, and will get regular starts from there.
