MLB Releases All-Star Ballot

Fan Voting Runs Through July 1.

MLB: Texas Rangers at Colorado Rockies Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Voting for the 2021 MLB All-Star Game began on Thursday, June 3, along with MLB’s ballot release.

Milwaukee Brewers on the ballot include:

1B Dan Vogelbach
2B Kolten Wong
3B Travis Shaw
SS Willy Adames
C Omar Narváez
OF Lorenzo Cain
OF Avisaíl García
OF Christian Yelich

Notable, but not necessarily surprising, is Dan Vogelbach’s presence over Keston Hiura at first, Willy Adames’ newcomer presence at shortstop, and Jackie Bradley Jr.’s absence in the outfield ballot.

Given the competition in the NL, early-season injuries, and down years for position players, the Brewers’ best cases for All-Star starters are concentrated on the mound, but pitchers are elected by a combination of players and the commissioner's office.

Phase 1 voting will run through Thursday, June 24 at 3 pm CT. Those committed to advancing their favorite Brewers and other All-Star candidates can vote up to five times per day during the first phase. The top three players at each position and top nine outfielders advance to the second phase of voting, which will begin on Monday, June 28, and run through July 1.
