What’s better than beating the Chicago Cubs?
Getting the chance to beat them twice in one day.
After an outbreak of severe storms in the Chicagoland area Monday night, the Brewers and Cubs are set to square off in two 7-inning contests today in a split doubleheader.
First pitch for Game 1 is scheduled for 1:20 p.m. CDT. It’ll be the same pitching matchup that was originally scheduled for last night — Freddy Peralta vs. Justin Steele, an impressive lefty getting a chance at his first career start after originally performing well in the bullpen earlier this year.
Our lineup for game 1 of today’s doubleheader.
