This probably does not happen. I get it, but hear me out.

If Houser and Lauer keep pitching they way they have been, and the trade dedline didn't net us the reliever we could really use, perhaps maybe making Freddy come out of the pen is actually the best thing for this team. He has done it with success, it would be an unexpected move. he could be the 2018 Hader you never know when or for how long you could see him. It would likely lead to less innings for the year, which would lead to better long term health. On any given start it's now a 5 inning game with that back end. Let me know what you guys think.
