All signs are pointing to CC using Freddy Peralta as the 3rd 2nd starter for the playoffs...I suspect that, if needed this coming Thursday, Miley would be ready to come in should Peralta get in trouble would get the start. Man, losing Woodruff sucks.

Of course, CC will make his final decision Thursday morning, if necessary, and it may depend on if the opponent has been hitting RHP's Burnes and Woodruff (with Peralta also being a RHP while Miley is a LHP).

In Peralta's favor, he's been much better at home (3.44 ERA, 0.94 WHIP) and put up even better splits in the 2nd half (2.81 ERA, 0.88 WHIP)...and left-handed batters have only hit .215, but his walk rate was much higher than vs. righties.

Hopefully, Burnes and Woodruff can secure wins and CC can decide next Saturday who to start for the NLDS (then he will need to decide whether to start Burnes on 3 days rest...).
