They released images of the new safety hats for MLB that will be available for players who want to reduce the risk of head injury from batted balls. They're kinda big and still cap-shaped, so it would take some getting used to from fans. Personally, I'd wear one if it didn't actually affect my pitching motion, if you're distracted by what you look like on the mound then you lack the necessary focus to be a pitcher.
